You Can Have Whatever You Like

February 16, 2010  |  Foodie

At the Brooklyn Circus we get walks of all kinds. Actors, editors, business owners, and celebrities come through for quick look is disguise. The owner of Palmyra came through and invited us all to his new restaurant. At first I was going to decline but “I’ll comp you” was the last thing he said…

Colin and I went over after work, had some wine, hummus, lamb, and everything that’s not in my diet. One thing I love about New York is how many different restaurants of all cultures are so accessible and authentic. But with this new diet I don’t eat out much at all anymore. Palmyra serves Mediterranean food, which was a first for me. Luckily Colin was familiar, when they brought out the hummus and bread my face turned upside down. “I don’t know what that white stuff is and what am I supposed to do with all of this bread.” Everything was great, compliments to the chef! We didn’t have to pay but the price point was cute and come summer Colin and I are looking into throwing a few brunches there. I highly recommend this spot if you’re into Mediterranean food–new contact added to the blackberry…

And that’s why NYC has the best in this side of the Alantic, now if you want the best cuisine come down to New Orleans.

    Love it sham…
