“If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine. It is lethal.” Wise words from Brazilian lyricist and novelist Paulo Coelho. Which inspired the idea of two days off the green tea. La Colombe in Tribeca, a personal recommendation from my good friend naKota, for a pick-me-upper called macchiato. Not love at first sight but I do believe something clicked. The next morning I wanted another and I like the look holding that tiny cup. Enter any La Colombe cafe and one immediately notices what is missing – the merchandising and clutter of CDs, coffee mugs, home coffee machines and lunch foods; all items that distract from the coffee experience and slow quality service. Here in our cafes, first and foremost, the COFFEE and the CUSTOMER are the primary focus.
+ Spotted in Tribeca wearing an oversized cardigan that compliment leather shorts and tights. Very Peter Pan like, right?
