The 3 Count Boy

April 24, 2010  |  Street Style

I think one should dress for life and not let life dress them. Yeah we’re young and we live fast–and we love looking good. Call me boring but my state of mind is very basic as of late. The uniform is back; basic shirt + tie…

Summer is here which usually means less pieces being used, but I’ve always found it hard to still continue my business man look. May, June, July, August; leave the sports coat at home–no layers accepted. Toss me a pair of black shades (1 count) a white button down + tie (2, 3 count) and call it my look for the week. Simple yet effective.

I can do it up and down. I can do it circle. I can do it long. I can do whenever however you like. Ride it.

    This guy is KILLING it.

I don’t give props often but this look is FLAWLESS.

I like to call this “poetic simplicity” and the attention is all in the details here.

And this guy comes off effortlessly and that should always be the goal with STYLE.

This particular look gives respect to several eras yet it’s also extremely modern. Paul Smith would love this look. It’s 50, 60, and 90′s respectively and yet it’s very contemporary.

One final comment is on proportion…..
    All the lines work here.

    Very well done.
