I accept flower baskets. And while most people want a car for graduation; well I want an empire. I wanna be one of the sponsors at my expected 2011 departure ceremony at Morehouse College. Maybe a few flyer’s of my face around campus and segmented commercials saying visit www.LateBoots.com. I’ll be real with you and confess that time management is my worst subject; I haven’t forgotten that I have classes, but when the lights come on Marquis Phifer gets turned ON. Once we hit it off we need to just take a trip to Vegas. You no like to gamble? I do. Last Sunday myself and the Dormtainment guys filmed a commercial for the Vegas themed party we’re hosting for Agnes Scott April 10th; shots of Patron.

So the treatment for the commercial went like this:

Synopsis: The Dormtainment guys are prepping their outfits for the Vegas event and cant quite get it together. One of the guys mentions Phife. Marquis inspires the missing link for each DT character’s ensemble for the night.

Outline:
- All 6 DT guys standing in the mirror, adjusting their outfits.
- Everyone comments in their own way:
-”Something isn’t quite right.”
-”Phifer would have us right for this event.”

*Cut / Phifer posing in full on evening wear (no dialogue). He taps his own oxford
- This process will continue for each character but for a different article of clothing/accessory.

* Final Shot »
- Guys enter room, dressed to perfection, drinks in hand.
- Fade to black → Event stamp Appears → Quintessential
Vegas music plays → ticket call to action, fade to black,

END

Naw I ain’t single, I’m just emotionally unavailable right now, & plus I just lost my top, the start of my ALL WHITE V-NECK EVERYTHING week–well for most of my Miami trip—work with the kid. ATL is finally bright! The sun is kissing all the brown skinned people so why should I be left out. I hit my boy on the text and he squeezed in sometime to meet me at my favorite spot Murphy’s; and when you go ask for Emily, say it just like Miranda Priestly did. Now the last time I ate at Murphy’s I missed my flight to Los Angeles, yes, it’s that good. I had to tip in and get a taste before I left town and when I looked at my watch it said 4:34pm–my flight was at 5:30pm. The result was a 9:00pm flight with an addition $100 fee. Damn. Well not this time, I went in and got my fix 2 days prior to leaving.

12:30am Twelve Lobby, I’ll be honest, I need publicist JDOT in Atlanta, man I need you to be here to control these interviews. I was on that tonic water & vodka; I’m not even sure what all I said. I spoke about my childhood; military boarding school I went to, views on college in general. Yeah he spoke to me though his lyrics and smiled at my camera for about 11 seconds–ok maybe 6; the result of sitting floor 3rd row. The universe is far to0 kind. Brooke, Aaron Reid and me Mr. Popular was drunk singing off key AND I WISH I NEVER MEET HER AT ALL.
