December 17, 2012  |  Editor's Picks, Individual Spotlight, Invested Listener, Musicology, Playlist

New Music: A.CHAL – “Dirty Mouth”
Underground DJ/producer A.Chal has been of mystique throughout his music career. An obscure figure far from hubris, he plays the background while letting the music speak volumes. That said, his role as a music producer has garnered high praise amongst his peers, more recently with fashion house Ralph Lauren where he’s been active as music director in past campaigns. Today, he shares with us an embodiment of all things experienced formed into one “video single” to give viewers an added effect. via source

Baby I’ma Star: The Holiday Party Hosted by Legendary Damon & Me!

December 14, 2012  |  After Hour Spots, Editor's Picks, Registration, Towering Intellectual Class, Where Are The Clothes

Now who the hell is this–texting me at 12:26 in the morning (let that champagne splash). Shake the dice & steal the rice (still got my money)–6,000 brothas. To whom much is given, much is tested. So I bought more jewelry. The children at the club kept calling me Miguel too, but I prefer Young Michael. And Miguel was there actually too. So was Tika Sumpter, Bevy Smith, Jennifer Williams, Al Reynolds, Claire Sulmers, Lamar James, Chef Roble, Luke James and Tyson Beckford too. It’s a true story. But anyway though, the long-awaited, wildly hyped joint effort by Legendary Damon & Phifer has arrived at last. Baby I’ma Star, The Holiday Party with a few pictures included. Just a few, but they don’t tell the full the story of the night. Just a few minutes though.  –>Inside Story

Kodak Moment: On The Daily with Shirley

December 11, 2012  |  Editor's Picks, Individual Spotlight, Kodak Moment, Street Style, The Traveling Sky Club

I was always taking pictures because memories fade. This is our history, high style in hard times. So, I choose to not give volume to things that are negative. It wears me out. And I don’t take shots with my eyes closed, just tinted. That cowabunga lifestyle, plus I can’t control the feeling. The quiet rebel has #been #trill. She’s on her own tour.

Throwback Thursday: Document Your America, NY (Unleashed)

November 29, 2012  |  Creative Experience, Leadership & Heroic Flutes, The Traveling Sky Club

Don’t be scared to run this–run this–run this back. Hello World! I trust that all is well. Yes, I am doing well–I’ve been plotting and planning new summer business, alot of meetings no offers yet (a Jay-Z verse, it just sounded good to use). Please take a gander back to your calender of March; I made a Reprise to New York during my Spring Break. After seven days of working (oppose to laying by the sunset) I had massive amounts of photos that I wanted to post, but they didn’t make the cut. Unleash the unreleased–I heard from a bird that you sleep when you die, so I turned into a Dove–watch me Fly. My whole mental; ain’t shit to lose. LateBoots Nation; lite like some roman candles. Boy this blog is crazy! Coltrane Curtis on my right, Team Epiphany on my left; I’m safe. Now let’s get back to bizness.
