STANKONIA STUDIOS ATLANTA: Politicking over the music board. The prelude to the art of recording over a brut spirit with Go Dreamer and The Love Crusader — former members of the music group Hollyweerd.
You can’t stop a train/ Who want some? Don’t come un-pre-pared/ I’ll be there, but when I leave there/ Better be a household name. Stankonia — A recording, mixing, and production studio owned by André 3000 and Big Boi. The two named the studio “Stankonia” after their fourth studio album – a word created by André 3000. When speaking about the studio he explains, “Stankonia is this place I imagined where you can open yourself up and be free to express anything”. Let it marinate over some iPhone photos inside the story. –>Inside Story

This is a musical-orgasmic listen indeed, seductively packaged. Meet The Yes Ma’ams. Although these girls just seemed to have surfaced late last year, Secret, Slander and Privacy (from left to right) seem to be an industry’s kept secret. From the launch of their Twitter, celebrities from Gucci Mane, to famed produced Bryan-Michael Cox to Cassie and LaLa Anthony have tweeted their praise towards the girls, who chose Valentine’s Day to release their first material to the world.
A blending of the sex appeal of Vanity 6, with the calm cool of TLC and a dash of the flirty fun of the Spice Girls is the best way to describe the trio. With their severe looks, sound and risque lyrics, The Yes Ma’ams are ready to make their mark and stake their claim in the industry. Check out their brand new singles, “Only If I Say So,” produced by Linx and written by Kevin Michael, and their racy club cut, “Vanessa”. DOWNLOAD: Only If I Say So | Vanessa

Meanwhile at the Georgian Terrace Hotel before Marquis and I attended the A$AP Rocky show
Born and raised in Georgia gave me no reason to experience excellent accommodations here in Atlanta. Over the course of two weeks, Theophilus London and A$AP Rocky have come through the peach state which laid out a prime-time lineup for a pampering stay at the Georgian Terrace Hotel — Located on Peachtree Street in Atlanta, Ga., and is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. The architecture is one of it’s many perks including: european duvets, floor-to-ceiling Palladian-styled windows, wide wrap-around columned terraces, and crystal chandeliers. I’m off to the races, races…

I be that pretty mothaf***a, Houston is what I’m repping. Hair swingin. Freak it arabic style: sha-muck-daha-steesy. And without a bank account, I doubt we could swing that route. We gon’ make it in a second ladies and gents, your dopest host presents: extravagance. Never before, have you seen such magnificence in the black Bruce Wayne, yesss, the enterprise is phenom.
On February 11th Atlantic Division Entertainment and The Masquerade hosted a concert for American rapper and director A$AP Rocky. (The decorum of A$AP Rocky’s dressing room was #Heineken, your highness). Atlanta’s integral market and unique taste-maker population fused together a savvy demographic for the grand finale as Atlanta was the last stop on the 12-city “A$AP Mob Tour”. We dangerous, they pay a fee just to hang with us. We take meetings with vultures, feel me out, I’m used to hangin with boosters–in the best name brands. And like Whitney said, “they say I’m trouble and I don’t give a damn”. Are you the Queen of the Night? I’m the bomb-diggy, ask Sham, I keep a dedicated squad wit me. My position is lieutenant. They told me that Phifer was hot. And I agree. Inhale, Exhale (Shoop Shoop), Whitney forever (I have alot of lady friends). Plus the video of A$AP reading the crowd awaits you. Well, kind of. –>Inside Story
Kilo Kish (Pronounced KEY-LOW KEESH), model, textile designer and painter from the Downtown New York scene, is dropping wavy pantone vibes on her latest release “Navy” produced by The Internet. Under the mangament of Atlanta, Georiga’s very own J. Scott, co-founder of www.imnotatoy.com and the official worldwide DJ for A$AP Rocky, electrifying moments are sure to happen. “It’s so much fun to get in there, screw around, say whatever you want and just be you. Cause I go to school for art, so I’ve always just been a painter, but I realized music is a really quick way to get out your own personality and get out your style. It’s really cathartic just to do it,” Kish tells Vibe Vixen.
Enjoy,

I’m almost never serious, and I’m always too serious. Too deep, too shallow. Too sensitive, too cold heart. I’m like a collection of paradoxes. - Ferdinand von Schrubentaufft
Sometimes it’s to your advantage for people to think you’re crazy. I’ll take crazy over stupid any day. She’s getting lite, I light her up. It’s only a ciggie — not too controversial. Playing Starship Orchestra in my head while smoke blow. I’m blind to the facts in this traveling mask. I have a quiet way of not listening. A cold cowboy girl in the corner, but being still and doing nothing are two different things. Cherish your solitude; If it didn’t kill you then it’s working for your good. Try being the strong silent type. “Life can be so nice, It’s a wonderful world, sweet paradise.”
