Don’t let it snow, don’t get any colder — please New York. But please do give me the amazing fashion that comes along with bare trees and necessary cab rides…
The first party that I’ve gone to since SoBe that’s granted me a reason to get dressed to impressed was Goldbar and Taz Arnold/Damon Peruzzi’s Le Mirrors Party NYC. Damon hated me that night, of course he would be the only other person in the room with a gold blazer on–great minds think alike.
And as you may be able to tell the folks were giving individuality mixed with the winter season all over the place. We had fur caps and fur jackets, Blow hats and MCM leathers. There was color, texture and a sickening decor to settle in. Not to mention the impromptu performance of my current favorite Prince song ‘Dorothy Parker’–‘Yeah, let me get a fruit cocktail, I ain’t too hungry.” The West Coast has been the home to this same party in the sunny city of Los Angeles over this past year, I suppose the success led to the inevitable recreation in the fair city of New York.
