Premiere: D-Why – Party Girl

August 24, 2010  |  Team Motown

This kid is about to be a problem you should put me in time- out. A crossover is in order–Things are getting real quiet. Time-in I try a lot. And I’ll tell you something I’m not, and that’s a quitter because winning is something that I like a lot…

Recording artist D-Why is on the come up. A southern charm from West Virginia — who knew rappers were in West Virginia — doesn’t matter. Lateboots is breaking some new music right here. We like the clean cut appeal and the diction with his words. Not to mention Mr. D isn’t scared to hop on a sick beat — oh yea, he freestyles too. But this song is for the radio and bloggers killed the tv star.

“hit” in the form of west virginia uneducated trash bro. come on. help your boy out and tell him to think of something better than “partyin partyin partyin.” at least that’s what a real friend would do. “absolute hit” in the form of hitting a b*tch until she screams so loud that her screams sound like D-sh*t “rappin” if you can call it that.

I’m the first one to knock down party songs (they remind me too much of college)

But I listened to this song about 15 times and all I can say is damn…. The beats fresh, the hook is so catchy I’ll probably be saying it tonight while doing my wife.

    big props to D-Why.

It all depends on what you in to. What I would say, is this has huge appeal.. That means main stream exposure. I could sell this package to at least 20 brands and you know that’s where it starts.

doesn’t seem like a bad area with that 4 train stopping there. Probably not a lot of room to earn a dollar with those shops their also. And that anti-Semitic shit come on man that’s some bullshit. You really that ignorant or just high on whatever you probably serving?

His voice is terrible might be the understatement of 2010. Ruins the song for me. If he could just write and let someone with talent perform his songs he could probably make some money. However we know he doesn’t need the money. Sorry it ruined the page for you man. Fixing his voice probably won’t happen sadly though, he actually believes it nice cause the people around him won’t say other wise.

This song really blows. I can tell he has no experience and a terrible engineer mixing his music. His tone/pitch of his voice is disgusting. He is soooo mono tone its not funny. This is why white guys cannot be rappers. I heard this guy is trying to be a model or something as well. Stick to trying on hipster clothes. LOL Anything anymore is some sort of art in bs Brooklyn. He should preform these songs on the L train going to Williamsburg, wearing his gay ass clothes. He would fit that crowd more. Did this guy just hit puberty??? If I were him, I would give up. LOL He sounds like that Swayze guy, we all know what happened to him. His a loser coke head after one song that got played. I would recommend this track to be played at a corny wedding for corny people…

Wow, some ignorant comments in here, and they all seem to be coming from the same person. If you don’t like the song, cool, you’re entitled to that. The song is obviously not for everybody; it’s meant to be catchy, poppy and
more commercial than most songs you hear on the internet and see posted on blogs. Most of D-WHY’s songs don’t
sound like this. However, D isn’t a ‘one-lane artist.’ If you don’t like this song, there are most likely other ones that you WILL like, and they’re coming soon… But, when you leave nonsensical comments acting like you know D-WHY and there is some reason people shouldn’t like him as a person, you look stupid. Because, after reading the comments, it’s clear that you DON’T really know him, at all.

As for the modeling: D-WHY was in 10.DEEP’s summer 2010 lookbook, but other than that he has done no ‘modeling’ thus far and has no plans to.

… well listening to this I immediately think of the Sewanee crowd. Not familiar with the school?? Look up top party schools in the nation… number 14.

Want to know where icing came from?? Well some credit it to The Mountain.

All that to say that it’ll strike some fancies, and those fancies come attached to big dollars held by a small group of people. To others it ranges from mediocre to laughable… just my opinion tho.

This b*tch has a terrible voice. Can I hear wannabe Asher Roth? Anyone who writes a song about college takes the easy way out b/c it automatically appeals to college kids. Just like anyone who writes a song about graduation will have it played at all high school graduations. There’s an idea for you D-slut. You have a big jew nose, and I don’t know what girl would get w/ you. WHO IS THIS GUY could blow you “rappin” skills out of the water. Better stick to living on off your rich boy parents and forget this whole rap thing.

seriously……. the chorus of the song is “partyin partyin partyin partyin partyin” is that as good as you can do? Go to the hood, get your ass beat a couple times and come out with a rap about how you got your ass beat then we might have a hit.
