Amongst the many learning experiences I’ve had while in NYC, I’ve also had the privilege to be surrounded by talented influencers who are at the top of the class–not just city wide but worldwide. And photographer Colin Thierens falls into that category…

Colin Thierens is on his way to pinnacle with his camera game. Let’s just say, “I’m easily influenced by the n****s I’m around.”  The way I see it, “Employees shouldn’t hang with EMPLOYEES because it only furthers your career as an EMPLOYEE. Start hanging with BOSSES & BECOME ONE”, said Great Scott CEO of The Liason Group. (Sidebar: another young brother I’m working with—post coming soon) Now you see why I’m only seen with the best. And you don’t see me often because we work—no child’s play around here. When I get to the T-O-P I won’t be only.

Through sometime Colin has caught me on the candid tip–beautiful shoots—some never seen, so I decided to spotlight him and bring a few photos to the light. You can check out more of Colin’s work daily on The BKc blog. He is one of the only photographers that I know will catch me in the right lighting. I’ve seen photos where I didn’t think I made that face or had me taking a double look to see if it was me. He makes me look good.
