Whenever I see a piano, I have flashbacks to my childhood being in church early and feeling so tempted to go Ray Charles in. Once the Belvedere hit me, the temptation came to life. Tyler and I gave the ladies and gents a show. Although no one was paying attention I got my life. After my stage time, I started to let my camera do the talking. I don’t care for the crisp photos and everyone posing all the time. Blurring shots are sometimes my favorites–there’s beauty in imperfection.

We ended the night making brownies and sipping chai tea, which is my favorite. Mr. GeniusHatesCo is Betty Crocker in the kitchen.

Naw I ain’t single, I’m just emotionally unavailable right now, & plus I just lost my top, the start of my ALL WHITE V-NECK EVERYTHING week–well for most of my Miami trip—work with the kid. ATL is finally bright! The sun is kissing all the brown skinned people so why should I be left out. I hit my boy on the text and he squeezed in sometime to meet me at my favorite spot Murphy’s; and when you go ask for Emily, say it just like Miranda Priestly did. Now the last time I ate at Murphy’s I missed my flight to Los Angeles, yes, it’s that good. I had to tip in and get a taste before I left town and when I looked at my watch it said 4:34pm–my flight was at 5:30pm. The result was a 9:00pm flight with an addition $100 fee. Damn. Well not this time, I went in and got my fix 2 days prior to leaving.

When I was a lil younger I use to give people who dined and shopped alone a salty look like: lonely?. But the more my experiences increase I cherish ME TIME. I turned off my Blackberry and was the host of imperfections. You too much pressure dog, I’ma flirt, and I’m trynna be in Miami like it’s just Me & U cue Cassie. I’ma need you to say something baby. So today I finally broke down and hit up these stores that reside in my backyard, all a boy is looking for is a backpack! I give in, the tote won. And at this point I’m over Atlanta lol, so I’m gonna tip and all I wanna see is a beach chair. The last garment pre-Miami call.
