LateBoots has developed a lifestyle rather appealing to the masses proudly proclaimed as “The New Workers”. A term used to describe the work ethic and hustle of myself and my followers alike. And now we are set to launch the 2nd invite of Lateboots.com with tailored content for the second nation hustlers. We work. LateBoots.com has been running for two years now and has a following like you wouldn’t believe! From Dj Cassidy, Emil Wilbekin, Coltrane Curtis, June Ambrose, Bevy Smith, Taz Arnold, Aaron Reid, Teyana Taylor to Diggy Simmons–everyone is a viewer. From our work with GIANT and Complex magazine to Epiphany and The Brooklyn Circus–we are living out–the dream–in a world of “can’t do’s” to “we already did”.

A brief blueprint of the last two years might be in order. The story is better told by the words of Trace magazine,
“LateBoots.com founder has cultivated an online extension of his world of self expression and social enlightenment that is shared amongst his bevy of blog followers. Be it coverage of the high fashion market, the introduction of emerging designer talent, or quick tips on maintaining during the current economic climate, Phifer stays true to what makes him happy and simply reveals his day to day discoveries and witty repartee. The self-proclaimed artist, whose mediums are more fashion and socializing than canvases and photographs, shares his platform with his female right-hand simply known as Sham. The strikingly attractive tomboy who has been apart of his movement since its inception, serves as the rough antithesis to the more polished demeanor of Phifer. Launching his site in 2007, the strong willed one simultaneously completed assistant styling gigs and later an internship at a major magazine publication. With over two years in the cipher, his popularity has grown and his opinion is becoming respected amongst others in the industry (new and established) and beyond. Whether his eye for the urbane is natural or learned is a trivial detail. However, one thing is obvious Marquis Phifer is definitely helping trail blaze the path to a new definition of sartorial righteousness for the young black generation.”

The Depature:
We spend less time on celebrity and real time on real life. You, me, him, her–it’s all about the everyday tastemakers. The typical day for us–either at the clearport, in the club, hotel suite, NY public transit, someone’s board room, home office or in class. We are–yeah I said it we are–on the go like the rabbit looking for his Trix. Open the box.
