THE GUEST LIST: The worlds of New York, the arts, politics, big business, high society and royalty came together to toast Team Epiphany – and preen for the waiting photographers. Photogenic moments were captured from the Team Epiphany Holiday Soiree that was held at The Empire Room in the Empire State Building. Yes, it was a lavish party for more than 500 guest with everyone donning their best holiday hair. DRESS CODE: Slinky, dance floor-ready designer gowns, the more outré the better. Black tie for the men and dresses for ladies (although some deviated from this). A young Phifer attended in an all black Lanvin tux. So, you remember my trip to Philly last week yes? Good, because I was snatched. For the final stop on the 2012 Heineken Red Star Access (6-city) tour, Wale, Nas and Q-Tip joined forces in Philadelphia. Concertgoers lined up outside of the famed Electric Factory, hours in advance to catch the concert. Q-Tip entertained the crowd with a DJ set alongside comedian Affion Crockett. Fans were surprised when the rapper Wale invited Philly hip-hop artist Freeway on stage for a performance of his 2002 hit, “What We Do.” And because you and I are friends, here is the video of all the fun.

Last week I jetted off to Atlanta to attend the Heineken Red Star Access tour at Opera Nightclub. If you follow me you would have been exposed to my every moment on my trip. The evening was hosted by comedian Affion Crockett and included performances by R&B crooner, Trey Songz, surprise performer, Waka Flocka, and Dr. Dre’s protégé, Kendrick Lamar.
