These ballrooms I riot until I see stars in my eyes. I bet my silk will shock her. Make ‘em say ughhhh! And I don’t have to speak. No talking. See, I’m dressed appropriate. While you were sleeping, I put on a good show because a girl is a gun. #bang #bang — Instagram | SHAMSHIRLEYONLINE
For those who just can’t wait for season deux of House of Lies to hit, we’ve honed in on the anticipation with flicks from the screening party that took place just 48 hours ago. Here’s the recap: Thursday night, invited audiences in New York City got a sneak peek at season two of the hit Showtime series House Of Lies at AMC EMPIRE 25. Music by DJ D-Nice. Drinks by Ciroc and Heineken. And the guest pictured includes Claire Sulmers of Fashion Bomb Daily, Briana Marie of B.Marie Style, Susan Morgan of Team Epiphany, and a young girl who tied the hell out of that scarf; given me Minnie Mouse realness! House of Lies season 2 premeries this Sunday on Showtime. To learn more about the show visit sho.com/Houseoflies.
The Boss. This is a team effort! Call it a sign of the times: If you’ve been checking in to the House of LateBoots, it’s no secret that my dear friend @SammyJoFruition has been appearing as a guest on site; new year, new friends–a new era of fresh sophistication. Last week I attended Sammy Jo’s x @Suzay‘s birthday party here in New York as we celebrated in high style. Love girls with hustles!
THE GUEST LIST: The worlds of New York, the arts, politics, big business, high society and royalty came together to toast Team Epiphany – and preen for the waiting photographers. Photogenic moments were captured from the Team Epiphany Holiday Soiree that was held at The Empire Room in the Empire State Building. Yes, it was a lavish party for more than 500 guest with everyone donning their best holiday hair. DRESS CODE: Slinky, dance floor-ready designer gowns, the more outré the better. Black tie for the men and dresses for ladies (although some deviated from this). A young Phifer attended in an all black Lanvin tux. So raise your holiday libation and get your life if you’re still living. –>Inside Story
Now who the hell is this–texting me at 12:26 in the morning (let that champagne splash). Shake the dice & steal the rice (still got my money)–6,000 brothas. To whom much is given, much is tested. So I bought more jewelry. The children at the club kept calling me Miguel too, but I prefer Young Michael. And Miguel was there actually too. So was Tika Sumpter, Bevy Smith, Jennifer Williams, Al Reynolds, Claire Sulmers, Lamar James, Chef Roble, Luke James and Tyson Beckford too. It’s a true story. But anyway though, the long-awaited, wildly hyped joint effort by Legendary Damon & Phifer has arrived at last. Baby I’ma Star, The Holiday Party with a few pictures included. Just a few, but they don’t tell the full the story of the night. Just a few minutes though. –>Inside Story
I keep champagne in my cup. And an influential friends list (no request). You keep forgetting I’m from Houston? Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve. And yes, my friends have their own resturant. Properly named at that too. I had dinner with the effervescent Dee & Ricky re: talking business (let that man get cash). Go with the flow.

I was out having cocktails with @IdrisElba, @BevySmith, @TherealTaraji & Claire from @thefashionbomb! And this was on a Monday night. Idris is a great dj low key. He knows his beats. We had cocktails at the James Hotel. And then work was in the morning. And I was on time! He is very busy! Boop.
The Phifer landed in Brooklyn. It’s true! Last week I attended the Heineken x James Bond event donning my usual uniform: all black. The event celebrated Heineken’s 15-year partnership with James Bond at the MTA Museum where they transformed the venue into a James Bond film. Flawless. I’m sending you over to my boy Marcus Troy’s spot for the pictorials in detail! I ran into him and William Yan. Perfect times.
