Pictorial journal. Hocus pocus, sequins are not just for parties. I’m not sure if it really matters, but I like it for late afternoons. Kind of like an innocent vice but way festive when it hits the light. “With my eyes turned to the past I walk backwards into the future.” Oh, the tales of a rolling stone age. I’m moving wherever the winds blows. Trying to keep it steady but, anything under 90 mph feels strange. I understand not everyone can relate to what I appreciate — A boulevard called sunset, a lounge called Suede and sand in January. Just a few more rounds until my feet touch the ground back in Miss New York City. –>Inside Story
Healthy living. I rode down to catch some of that ocean glow perfecto. While you’re making a living don’ t forget to live. From the twilight zone to dusk, make my day with a “cheers!” What’s your flavor? A double scoop of palm tress in the middle of winter are selling me today, and that’s a loaded gun. It’s a fact, kiss kiss. I made no resolutions for the New Year. “The habit of making plans, of criticizing, sanctioning and molding my life, is too much of a daily event for me.” — Words from Anaïs Nin somehow fit me like a glove. There is surely nothing other than the single purpose of the present moment. Take the journey and enjoy it for whatever it brings. Can you hear me switching lanes? I can see the vibration in the side view mirror.
New York singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey, songs of dark troubled love affairs, took the cake for 2011′s Rising Star. Her single Video Games played at Christopher Kane and Emilio de la Morena‘s Spring/Summer 2012 shows. Del Rey has also recently signed with Next Model Management under their talent division with likes of Alexa Chung, Jessie J and Ellie Goulding. I’d say that’s a proper initiation into the fashion scene. “I’m making big decisions. I have integrity with my music,” Del Rey tells Elle UK. The latest Lana Del Rey track is titled Off to the Races which debuted an official video made with random found footage by Del Rey herself.

The spotlight’s hitting something. 2012 welcomes the birth of Pretty Flacko. So much to do and say, so much to see. Go ahead and polar bear plunge to the new year. We at the corner of “give it to ‘em” and “they don’t want it.” Just a few Georgia peaches chasing down a ocean view, pick-a-boo! Keep it up, we gon show you how we party. The architecture of happiness: When we run off for the weekend and the weightless feeling that accompanies us. The clocks ticking to electric music — solid walls of sound. The darkness seems to soothes me while sipping on a dry spirit. Little Egypt Wavy facing these changes, filled my cup with sauvignon blanc for a toast progress. The DJ booked my honeymoon on the dance floor, the most civilized way to open the doors to dos mil doce.

A film by Harrison Boyce and Nathan Brown of Boyce & Brown, London performing Marvin Gaye’s “Purple Snowflakes” for New York Times Magazine. “Picking a holiday song is harder than people think,” explains the Trinidad-born, Brooklyn-based rapper Theophilus London. “If you’re not going to write your own modern classic like George Michael or Run DMC, you have to cover something a lot of people don’t know.” The original is really stripped down and trippy,” says London, “so it inspired me to make my own weird version.” Pictured (from left): Elijah Austin, Omar Grant, Theophilus London, Aja Grant. –>Inside Story

Christmas in Georgia: Ello ello ello ello feeling what some only know. Experiencing the beauty of mountain air from my birth place. Moo-moo’s and gallops exiting my block. And when I crank she roars down the windy country roads — I call her big red. One hand in the air if Christmas is your one excused day off. As young as yesterday, on the 5th floor I can see the world go around below me. There is no key to my game — Only dead fish swim with the stream. Your job is to make something happen. When they must do something and you are the best available champion, it’ll get done. To keep a handle on this I am anchored. One more week and I can take a nap for 15 minutes. This is not for commercial usage. I was just in the neighborhood and I thought this would be fun. Off to the races.
I found my four leaf clover,
