Sometimes it’s to your advantage for people to think you’re crazy. I’ll take crazy over stupid any day. She’s getting lite, I light her up. It’s only a ciggie — not too controversial. Playing Starship Orchestra in my head while smoke blow. I’m blind to the facts in this traveling mask. I have a quiet way of not listening. A cold cowboy girl in the corner, but being still and doing nothing are two different things. Cherish your solitude; If it didn’t kill you then it’s working for your good. Try being the strong silent type. “Life can be so nice, It’s a wonderful world, sweet paradise.”

Shaun Ross, first albino model from New York and most recently appeared in Katy Perry’s “E.T.” music video and Beyonce’s “Party”, takes us on an eventful trip to Paris packed with photoshoots, parties, and appearances from Chaka Khan and Grace Jones. Ross has been featured in photo-editorial campaigns in major fashion publications including British GQ, Italian Vogue, i-D Magazine, Paper Magazine and Another Man, and has modeled for Alexander McQueen and Givenchy. Last week in Charleston: Paradise now in classic high society comforting decor. The Traveling Sky Club Welcomes: Angel Oak Tree

High stepping in velvet slippers to see a 1500 year old tree towering over 65 feet high? Reportedly the oldest thing — living or man-made — east of the Rockies, Angel Oak is a live oak tree aged approximately 1,500 years. Some locals simply call it The Tree. It stands in a wooded area along Bohicket Road of John’s Island outside Charleston, South Carolina. You won’t find a lot of stuff like tee shirt shacks around there, because basically the attraction is a single tree standing in a park. So keep an eye out for signs and drive slowly.

Angel Oak is a live oak. It is native to the low country and is not very tall but has a wide spread canopy. Lumber from the live oak forests in the sea islands was highly valued for shipbuilding in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Angel Oak stands on part of Abraham Waight’s 1717 land grant. Mr. Waight owned several plantations. The City of Charleston now owns Angel Oak. There is no charge to view the tree and is a must see when visiting Charleston, South Carolina. http://www.angeloaktree.org

The minimalist gem in the historic district of downtown Charleston has foudue night every Thursday, as well as meals that include your beverage from iced tea to house wine. The breakfast menu is filled with a variety of croissants, fruit salad, and French pressed coffee — very cute. Grey is the Managing Editor and Design Director of Art of Re-use — a traveling pop-up thrit boutique that prices found pieces $50 and under with a limit of three items per customer. “The initiative is re-inventing thrift shopping and the connotation it comes with, whether that be negative or positive. Pictorial journal. Hocus pocus, sequins are not just for parties. I’m not sure if it really matters, but I like it for late afternoons. Kind of like an innocent vice but way festive when it hits the light. “With my eyes turned to the past I walk backwards into the future.” Oh, the tales of a rolling stone age. I’m moving wherever the winds blows. Trying to keep it steady but, anything under 90 mph feels strange. I understand not everyone can relate to what I appreciate — A boulevard called sunset, a lounge called Suede and sand in January. Just a few more rounds until my feet touch the ground back in Miss New York City.
