At The T-O-P

December 23, 2009  |  Where Are The Clothes

Owner Racquel Nosworthy opened NOS Boutique on September 1st [sidebar my birthday so mark the calendar for next year] specializing in shoes, accessories, and layered apparel in Dumbo, Brooklyn. The Dumbo native’s goal for the boutique was to, “create a unique shopping experience centered around having fun with life and feeling good about yourself.”…

What caught my attention about NOS were the KONA, JAVA booties by Matiko–made with kid suede and leather bootie on a 4 inch wood wedge. A customer came into the BKc wearing a pair. From the way she walked in she gave a good performance giving me the impression that they were easy to walk in–WRONG. I won’t go into my expericence learning how to walk in them. Let’s just say I haven’t challenged gravity in years, maybe these will be the  pair to bring me back to life.
